Course Registration, Cancellation & Refund Policy

Last updated: 8 October 2026

1. Registration Process

A participant completes the applicable course registration form and follows the stated payment instructions.

A registration is confirmed after the required payment has been received and verified, regardless of whether the payment is made by the participant personally or by an approved sponsor, employer or organisation.

A confirmed participant registration does not necessarily mean that the course itself has reached the minimum requirement to proceed.

2. Minimum Participant Requirement

Some programmes require a minimum number of confirmed participants before the course can proceed.

A participant’s individual registration may be confirmed after the required payment has been received and verified, even while the course itself remains pending confirmation.

Once the minimum participant requirement has been reached and the course is confirmed to proceed, registered participants will be notified accordingly.

If BREMJ Aca-Physio or the applicable course host decides not to proceed with a course because the minimum participant requirement has not been reached, the course fee paid will be refunded in full in accordance with this Policy.

3. If We Cancel a Course

If BREMJ Aca-Physio or the applicable course host cancels a course and no suitable replacement arrangement is accepted by the participant, the course fee paid will be refunded in full.

Refunds will normally be made using the original payment method or another mutually agreed method.

BREMJ Aca-Physio is not responsible for unrelated third-party expenses such as travel, accommodation, visa expenses, foreign-exchange differences or bank charges, except where required by applicable law.

4. If We Postpone a Course

If a course is postponed, registered participants will be informed of the revised arrangements.

Participants may be offered the option to transfer their registration to the revised date.

If the organiser changes the course to a materially different date and the participant is unable to attend, the participant may request a full refund of the course fee paid.

5. Participant Cancellation

Participant cancellation conditions vary depending on the programme.

The applicable cancellation deadline, cancellation fee and refund entitlement will be stated in the relevant course registration form or course information.

A participant requesting cancellation must notify the applicable organiser in writing by email.

For Singapore programmes:

For Malaysia programmes, use the contact information shown in that programme's registration materials.

6. Late Cancellation and No-Show

Where a participant cancels after the stated cancellation deadline, or fails to attend without an eligible cancellation request, no refund will normally be provided unless the relevant course-specific terms state otherwise or applicable law requires otherwise.

7. Registration Transfer / Replacement Participant

Where permitted for the relevant course, a participant may request to transfer their registration to another eligible person.

The request must be made in writing before the applicable course deadline.

The replacement participant must:

meet all eligibility and prerequisite requirements; complete the required registration information; and accept the applicable course terms.

Transfers are subject to approval by the organiser.

8. Online Card Payments and Refunds

Where online card payment is offered, payment is processed through Stripe.

Refund eligibility is determined by this Policy and the applicable course-specific cancellation conditions, regardless of the payment method originally used.

If BREMJ Aca-Physio cancels the course, the applicable course fee paid will be refunded in full.

9. Sponsored Participants

Where payment is made by a sponsoring company or organisation, any approved refund will normally be returned to the party that made the original payment, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

10. Course Amendments

Reasonable changes may be made to a programme, including adjustments to venue, timetable, teaching format or programme sequence.

Material changes will be communicated to registered participants as soon as reasonably practicable.

11. Course-Specific Conditions

Some courses may require different cancellation deadlines, refund percentages, substitution conditions or accreditation requirements.

Those conditions will be clearly stated during registration.

Where a course has specific registration, cancellation, refund, transfer or eligibility conditions, those course-specific conditions will apply to that course. If there is any inconsistency between those conditions and this general Policy, the course-specific conditions will apply only to the extent of that inconsistency.
